As a Progression Coach, you will provide high quality coaching, signposting, information, advice, guidance and appropriate support in relation to housing to members by providing a safe, welcoming, supportive and non-judgmental environment for members to progress.
The role will involve managing your own caseload and working with external partners.

We are currently looking for two Progression Coaches to offer high quality information, advice and guidance to support Crisis Skylight Members out of homelessness. This is a fixed term role for 12 months (with possible extension). One vacancy being full time (35 hours) and the other being part time (28 hours). Primarily based in our office in the centre of Newcastle, although there may be some outreach work required.
As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in engaging and working with vulnerable and hard to reach people. You will need to advocate effectively and maintain appropriate professional boundaries. You will have demonstrable experience of working within a coaching model of service delivery and in managing emergency interventions when applicable. You will be creative, working around constraints and challenges in an innovative way, utilising your exceptional decision-making skills.
