Our long-established charity is looking for an inspirational and hard-working Operations Manager keen to lead our dynamic and enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers. This rewarding senior role is an opportunity to transform lives and help people to escape homelessness.
You will be working with the Chief Executive, supported by a part time administrative assistant, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and organisation of the operational face of Winchester Churches Nightshelter (WCNS). Experience of running a busy office is essential and you will need to have a flexible and caring approach to your work. You will supervise designated staff as well as overseeing the recruitment, induction and training of volunteers.
You will be managing the office and administrative processes in addition to organising the maintenance and management of our facilities whilst ensuring H&S, Safeguarding and other procedures are adhered to and kept up to date.
The new Operations Manager will be joining at an exciting time as the charity plans to take on a new name to better reflect the life-changing service that it offers 24/7 to people experiencing homelessness.
38 hours per week. In the region of £29,000 - £30,500 depending on experience.
Training will be given and a paid Induction will take place over 4 to 5 weeks when you will be working alongside other members of a small, passionate and committed team.
