Housing Management Officer

Salary: £29,540 to £37,280 per annum

Grade: Career Grade 7-6

Contract: Temporary, fixed-term (12 months), Full Time (37 hours per week)

Location: Hastings, East Sussex

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive and motivated Housing Management Officer to join our fast‑paced Property Services Team. You’ll be part of a friendly and welcoming team in a dynamic environment that can be both challenging and rewarding.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of properties and tenancies
  • Support the Income Recovery team on rent arrears
  • Manage ASB and other tenancy issues
  • Carry out inspections and ensure Health & Safety compliance
  • Raise safeguarding concerns where risks are identified
  • Coordinate repairs and manage voids
  • Support residents to sustain their placements
  • Work with contractors and partner agencies

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in housing or property management (essential)
  • Knowledge of housing legislation & H&S (desirable)
  • Confidence managing ASB and navigating challenging situations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Driving licence (essential)
